Undergraduate Applicants

The first step is to create your online application on the portal. After you have completed all the required information that we need, your application will be evaluated based on the country and program requirements. Please click here to see detailed information on How to Apply.

Your application will be evaluated based on the minimum country or curriculum requirements initially. Please be aware that meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee approval of your application. The Admission Committee will also assess your application based on various criteria, including the main curriculum followed in your high school, the success rate in related courses, the program you are applying for, and more. • Latest High School Transcript
• High School Diploma (if out)
• Letter of Motivation (for Medicine applicants)
• Supportive Documents (if any) e.g. SAT, TOEFL, National Examination Result, Certificates, Reference Letters

Applicants who are applying for Cartoon and Animation or Conservatory programs must upload their portfolio as well.

Note: If you haven’t obtained your final transcript, diploma, or examination results yet, you may make your application with your previous transcripts and a document such as first-term results of the 12^th grade, predicted grades, etc.

Depending on the language of the program you are enrolling in, you will be required to provide language proficiency after completing your enrollment in Istanbul. BAU accepts certain international language proficiency examinations as well as its own language proficiency exams for freshman students. You can check the accepted language exams based on the language and the programs on this page.

After receiving your Official Acceptance Letter following the deposit payment, you can apply for an education visa at the nearest embassy to be present in Istanbul during the registration period mentioned in your letter. BAU will assist you with your residence permit right after your enrollment is completed. Please visit the visa and residence permit page to view Turkey’s visa policy and detailed information that you must know before your arrival.

Upon your arrival in Istanbul and your visit to our campus in Beşiktaş, you will be expected to finalize your enrollment process by submitting hard copies of your documents and their translations. Please pay attention to the registration period indicated in your Official Acceptance Letter and carefully read the enrollment guide sent along with it.
