A Graduation Day to Remember at BAU
The Class of 2026 Takes the Stage:
On July 26, 2026, the BAU family came together for one of the most anticipated moments of the academic year: the 2025–2026 Bahçeşehir University Graduation Ceremony.
Held at Ülker Sports and Event Hall, the ceremony brought together graduates, families, academics and friends for a day filled with excitement, pride and unforgettable moments. Every part of the ceremony reflected the effort, friendships and experiences that shaped the Class of 2026.
The ceremony was held in two sessions, allowing graduates from across BAU’s faculties, schools and institutes to take their place on stage. Students from Engineering and Natural Sciences, Architecture and Design, Law, Medicine, Communication, Dentistry, Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Educational Sciences, Applied Sciences, the Conservatory, the Vocational School of Health Services and the Graduate School celebrated the completion of an important chapter in their lives.
Lots of Stories to Tell
Every graduate walking across the stage carried a different story.
Some arrived at BAU from another city, while many travelled thousands of kilometres from another country. Some discovered new interests during their studies, joined student clubs, completed internships, participated in international projects or built friendships with people they might never otherwise have met.
On graduation day, all these stories came together in one hall.
The Class of 2026 represented the academic diversity of BAU, with graduates from every field bringing their own knowledge, experiences and ambitions to the celebration. While their departments, languages and backgrounds may have been different, they shared the same moment of becoming BAU graduates.
International Students Among BAU’s Top Graduates
As always, this year’s ceremony was a particularly proud occasion for BAU’s international community too.
International students achieved top rankings across several faculties and academic units, demonstrating the talent, commitment and diversity that define the BAU community.
Among the Class of 2026:
- The first-, second- and third-ranking graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry were international students.
- The third-ranking graduate of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences was an international student.
- The first-ranking graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Design was an international student.
- The first-ranking graduate of the School of Applied Sciences was an international student.
- The first- and second-ranking graduates of the Graduate School were international students.
International success was also represented at the university-wide level. The third-ranking graduate of Bahçeşehir University was an international student from Jordan, graduating from the Psychology Department within the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences.
To every international graduate who stood on the stage, supported a friend from the audience or celebrated with their family from near or far: congratulations! You have added your own story to BAU’s global community, and we are proud to see where you go next.
More Than a Graduation Ceremony
Graduation marks the end of classes, examinations and deadlines, but it does not mark the end of being part of BAU.
The friendships formed on campus, the professional connections established through classes and internships, and the sense of belonging created throughout university life continue beyond graduation. This is where the BAU Club alumni ecosystem becomes part of the next chapter.
BAU Club brings graduates together through networking, career and social events, professional collaborations, member benefits and opportunities to reconnect with the university. Its growing international network includes more than 76,500 graduates from 123 countries, creating a community that reaches far beyond Istanbul.
Through the BAU Club mobile application, graduates can follow events and announcements, discover collaborations and membership benefits, register for events and remain connected with the alumni network wherever they are.
And while graduates may no longer be heading to their regular classrooms, there is still a place waiting for them on campus.
The BAU Club Lounge is a dedicated meeting point where alumni can reconnect, exchange ideas, build new professional relationships and continue to be part of university life. BAU graduates may have left their seats in the lecture halls, but they are now ready to take their places at the BAU Club Lounge.
