Applications Extended: You Still Have Time to Join BAU

The Fall 2026 semester is about to begin at Bahçeşehir University, and we have good news for international students who are still completing their plans: applications and registration have been extended until November 30, 2026.

We know that preparing to study abroad takes time. Academic documents, travel plans, visa procedures, payments, accommodation, and registration can sometimes take longer than expected. So, if you are still planning to join BAU this year, you have additional time to complete your process.

Applications and registrations will remain open until November 30, 2026, subject to program availability for 2026-2027 intake.

Fall 2026 Is Starting

The new academic year is here, and classes are starting across BAU’s programs in September.

Here are the Fall 2026 semester start dates:

• Medicine: September 14, 2026
• English Preparatory School: September 14, 2026
• Dentistry: September 21, 2026
• Other Undergraduate Programs: September 21, 2026
• Graduate School Fall Semester: September 21, 2026

If you have already received your acceptance or conditional acceptance letter but have not yet completed your registration, you can still finalize the remaining steps.

And if you have not applied yet, there is still an opportunity to submit your application, depending on the availability of your selected program.

Because classes are beginning, we strongly recommend completing your application and registration procedures as soon as possible rather than waiting until the final deadline.

We Extended Applications Until November 30

Need a little more time? We’ve extended the application and registration period for you.

International students can continue their Fall 2026 admission and registration procedures until:

November 30, 2026

This additional period gives students more time to complete document submissions, admission procedures, payments, travel arrangements, and final registration.

Program availability may change during the late registration period, so applying early gives you the best chance of securing a place in your preferred program.

Not Ready for Fall? Spring 2027 Is Available for Both Degree Levels

If starting this Fall does not work with your plans, there is another option.

Bahçeşehir University also offers a Spring 2027 intake for both undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

The Spring semester begins on:

January 18, 2027

Spring intake can be a suitable choice if you need more time to complete your academic documents, arrange your travel to Türkiye, prepare financially, or organize your move to Istanbul.

You can start preparing your application now and check the availability of your preferred program for the Spring semester.

What Do You Need to Apply?

For undergraduate applications, students should generally prepare:

• Valid passport copy
• Personal photograph
• High school diploma
• High school transcript
• English proficiency result, if available
• SAT, AP, A-Level, IB, or other international qualifications, if available

Students who are still completing high school may apply with their current transcript and provide their final diploma after graduation.

For master’s applications, applicants generally need:

• Valid passport copy
• Bachelor’s degree diploma
• Bachelor’s degree transcript
• English proficiency result, if available
• Additional documents such as a CV, statement of purpose, portfolio, or recommendation letter may be required depending on the program.

For PhD applications;

• Bachelor’s Degree Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree Transcript
• Master’s Diploma
• Master’s Transcript
• Letter of Intent
• CV
• GRE or GMAT
• TOEFL
